These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by SOAP Laundry Lounge (“we,” “our,” or “us”), located in San Antonio, Texas. By entering our premises or purchasing any self-service laundry, wash-and-fold, or coffee bar goods and services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms.
1. General Use of Premises
1.1 Eligibility
Customers must be 18 years or older to use our facilities without supervision. Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
1.2 Conduct
Disorderly, unsafe, or disruptive behavior will result in removal without refund. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason under Texas law. Customer accepts the premises and facilities AS-IS, WHERE-IS, WITH-ALL-FAULTS. Use of the equipment is at the customer’s sole risk. Customer is solely responsible for all damage arising from their conduct.
1.3 Safety
Customers must observe posted safety instructions, including wet floor warnings and equipment guidelines.
1.4 Prohibited Items
No hazardous materials, flammable items, or clothing contaminated with bodily waste, chemicals, or petroleum products may be laundered.
1.5 Pet Policy
SOAP permits the presence of well-trained domestic dogs, provided such animals are restrained on a leash at all times and do not cause disruption, nuisance, or unsafe conditions. The handler must remain in full control and is solely responsible for any damage or disturbance caused. Nothing here limits rights under federal, state, or local law regarding service animals. Service animals are welcome at all times.
2. Self-Service Laundry
2.1 Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for loading, operating, and unloading machines correctly.
2.2 Damage & Liability
We are not responsible for damage caused by misuse, manufacturer defects in garments, normal wear and tear, or dye transfer.
2.3 Unattended Items
Items left unattended for over 45 minutes may be removed from machines and set aside. Items left unattended or unclaimed for over 24 hours may be considered abandoned and donated or discarded without liability.
2.4 Machine Malfunction
Report malfunctions immediately to staff. Refunds or re-wash credits will be issued at our discretion.
Wash & Fold Service
3.1 Item Count & Valuables
Customers are responsible for verifying quantities before drop-off. We are not liable for items left in pockets (cash, jewelry, electronics, etc.).
3.2 Loss or Damage Claims
Claims must be made within 24 hours of pickup and must include a receipt and description of the issue. Liability is limited to the lesser of the replacement cost or ten (10) times the cleaning charge of the item, with a maximum of $250 per order.
3.3 Stain Treatment
We attempt stain removal at the customer’s request but cannot guarantee full removal without risk of damage.
3.4 Unclaimed Orders
Orders not picked up within 30 days may be donated or disposed of.
4. Coffee Bar
4.1 Consumption
Beverages and food purchased at our coffee bar may be consumed in designated seating areas.
4.2 Allergen Notice
All products are prepared in a shared kitchen; cross-contact with allergens is possible. Consumption is at the customer’s own risk.
4.3 Spills
Please report spills to staff immediately to maintain a safe environment.
5. Payment & Refunds
5.1 Payment
Payment is due at the time of purchase or service.
5.2 Pricing
Prices are posted in-store and online and may change without notice.
5.3 Refund Policy
Refunds are issued only in the form of store credit unless otherwise required by Texas law.
6. Limitation of Liability
6.1 Scope
To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, SOAP Laundry Lounge shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
6.2 Maximum Liability
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service or product in dispute, except to the extent that Section 3.2 applies.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bexar County, Texas.
8. Acknowledgment
By using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
